1/06/2011

Over the weekend of 26-27th March 2011, MBE Australia held their annual Conference at the Hyatt Coolum on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.

MBE Eight Mile Plains was awarded National Franchisee of the Year at the MBE National Conference last week.

In presenting the award, MBE Australia Managing Director, Rhett Thurston, said that MBE Eight Mile Plains, owned by Neil Stenhouse, was successful because they followed franchise processes and guidelines, and provided local customers with high quality customer service.

“Neil and the team at MBE Eight Mile Plains take real pride in looking after the needs of the local business community, particularly the other tenants of Brisbane Technology Park,” he said.

“They have maximised the potential of MBE’s business model, and by getting the processes right they have been able to spend more time focusing on their customer’s needs.”

Chief Operating Officer of MBE Worldwide, Massimo Puppo, flew in from Milan to attend the conference. He echoed Mr. Thurston’s comments, while also complimenting the store’s ability to deliver high quality business solutions, increase sales, and delight customers.

“MBE Eight Mile Plains is a perfect example of how our franchise model works. Neil has grown the business month-on-month, year-on-year using the tools provided to him by the franchise,” Mr. Puppo said.

Mr. Stenhouse said that he was delighted to accept the award and thanked his staff for their efforts in driving the success of the business. He also acknowledged the role that MBE played in ensuring his business was a success.

”The MBE model is very simple to follow and provided guidelines that helped me grow my business, while still allowing individual flexibility,” Mr. Stenhouse said.
